“Competències bàsiques”

The boys and girls of sixth of primary are preparing for some basic exams called “competències bàsiques”.                                                                                                                                       The exams are based on Catalan, Spanish, English and maths. All the lessons we studied are in those exams.                                                                                                                                         Spanish, English and Catalan have three parts: listening, reading and writing.            

Those exams are for knowing what level we have and if are prepared to go to the ESO. All the boys and girls of Catalonia do those exams.

Later they show the marks to the parents for thinking if the children have to do it better. Is important during the exam being concentrated and to make an effort to do it very well.

It seems very difficult no? But the teachers said that they aren’t difficult, because we have been practicing a lot of time and now we are completely ready.
