The students of 2nd are enjoying very much their activities for Saint Jordi.
They are doing three different activities for the cultural week! Saint Jordi, the patron saint of Catalonia.
They are doing a poem with a picture of Saint Jordi and the princess and they are going to colour it.
They are making a rose with eight petals made of red and green paper.
They are cutting out squared pieces, four red ones and four green ones. After that, they will punch them into a stick and make them look like petals. What a good idea!!
Teacher Mercè is going to read them the Saint Jordi legend in the small auditorium, so that the students can find out more facts about the traditional Catalan legend of Saint Jordi and the blood that came out from the rose, what a magical story!
What fantastic activities for the cultural week!!
