The
volcano Etna located in the Italian island of Sicily erupted on the 23rd of
January 2017. The eruption was concentrated in the upper area of the active volcano.
Its
height is 3.322 meters making it the biggest volcano of Europe. It did not
cause danger for the population of Sicily but the nearest towns were affected.
