Yesterday we visited the nursery of our school. Once there, we talked with Raquel, the leader of the project, and the teachers who works there.
In total there are 72 children in five different classes. One of them is for children from 6 to 12 months, there are six children in total. There are two classes for kids from 1 to 2 years and the last 2 groups are for children from 2 to 3 years. Each class have two teachers to help the kids with everything they need.
During the morning the activities are based in manipulation and experimentation. in the evenings they used to play games, sing different songs and tell stories. Every 45 minutes they have a break.
The nursery is open from 7:30 am until 6:00 pm but most children arrive at 9 am and leave at 5 pm.
